What care we provide
Urology is the branch of surgery that deals with diseases of the male and female urinary tract (kidney, ureter, bladder and urethra) and the male reproductive organs (penis, testes, prostate, etc…).
The Urology Clinic participates in research activities and provides the education of undergraduate and postgraduate students (doctors preparing for medical licensing examinations and doctoral Ph.D. students).
However, we mainly focus on the treatment of patients with urological diseases. We provide general care as well as specialized outpatient departments. We offer a wide range of surgical procedures – open, endoscopic, laparoscopic and robot-assisted (the DaVinci system).
Conditions treated:
- Urological oncology (prostate, kidney, bladder, testicular, penile tumors)
- Prostate diseases and male urinary disorders
- Male infertility
- Female urology (incontinence treatment)
- Urolithiasis
- Children’s urology
- Kidney transplantation (in cooperation with the 2nd Surgery Clinic and 3rd Internal Clinic)
